Working with Dani was such a positive experience. I had searched for so long for someone who understood the crossover between eating disorders and chronic illness - particularly when it comes to the numerous restrictive protocols that one can find themselves on! Dani has in-depth professional and personal experience of both and I found her guidance and advice to be compassionate, honest, practical and most of all, helpful and something I could implement. She sure knows her stuff professionally and from an educational standpoint but is also such a fun and positive person on a personal level. I highly recommend Dani to anyone struggling as she has so much to offer.
Thanks to Danielle's own experiences with overcoming anorexia, she definitely knows how to support you with the right words and motivation. Even when things seems dark and endless, she stands besides me and always give me that extra push to expand the boundaries my ed created for so long. I'm still a work in progress but Im so grateful I've met this strong, powerful and inspirational woman who is always there for me. It feels I'm not alone in this horrible battle, and yes, she can be very strict against your ed but hey, who else will?
Before I started working with Danie, I felt extremely alone with my chronic illness and my difficulties eating but knowing there was someone out there who knew exactly what I was going through was and still is so helpful. Her empathy and ability to motivate and support you when you’re going through a difficult time is priceless. She knows her stuff, what to say and when to say it and I always feel so much better after a Skype session. She somehow manages to stay professional while being an open-book and I think that’s so helpful.
In 6 years, I’ve never had anyone really help me with my issues with food and body image but since working with Danie, things are actually much better for the first time and I’m so grateful for that.
Thank you so much Danie for being an amazing coach despite struggling yourself with health issues !
